Our Firm

Red Lady Capital is an independent, fee-only, female-owned Registered Investment Adviser in Colorado. We provide comprehensive wealth management solutions to individuals, families and small businesses.

Our investment philosophy emphasizes principal preservation and risk management. We perform comprehensive research and analysis to determine the best investments to meet our clients' various financial objectives. We do not subscribe to “herd mentality” and often maintain contrarian views. We act as fiduciaries and have no conflicts of interest that would otherwise compromise the investment process.

Our principal place of business is in Crested Butte, Colorado. Crested Butte is located in the Southwest region of the state, in the center of the Elk Mountains. Town elevation is 8,885 feet and is situated at the base of "Red Lady Bowl" on Mount Emmons.

Christy Kong Eaton, CFA, is the Founder and CEO of Red Lady Capital, LLC. Prior to launching her firm in 2012, Ms. Eaton specialized in Risk Analytics, serving as a Quant Analyst for CR Intrinsic Investors, a division of SAC Capital. This followed her tenure at Deutsche Bank Securities, where she specialized in Asia Ex-Japan Equities for US institutional investors.

Ms. Eaton holds an MBA with Honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management where she served as a teaching assistant in Financial Engineering and Accounting. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Western State College University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature.

Ms. Eaton has previously held FINRA Series 7 & 63. She is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Institute.
